House Bill 1348

Legislation has been introduced in the North Dakota House that would exempt holders of concealed carry licenses from the ban on carrying firearms at "public gatherings" in North Dakota. This would allow concealed carry in parks, churches, on campus and at political rallies. You can read the full text of the bill here.

Greg Plautz, president of UND's of Students for Concealed Carry on Campus, provides a list of Grand Forks representatives, and a pre-written letter to send in support of the bill at the SCCC webpage.

Greg will be interviewed on Rob Port's "Say Anything" Radio Show on 1100AM on Sunday, January 25th about 8:30pm. Be sure to tune in!

Update: If you missed the live broadcast, not to worry. You can listen to the interview here. Greg's interview starts 34 minutes into the file.
